The site/company looks suspicious. They are their own testimonies. They claim that they are partnering with Mouseketeers, Inc. (206.197.251.123) and MyRestore.com (216.87.44.158) even though the company (e-Backups) ip address is (216.87.44.158). Checking the two ip addresses they all share the same location with different ISP's. So the company e-BackUps share the same address with their only testimonies: Mouseketeers, Inc. and MyRestore.com.

Safecopy backup also offers great online backup services. And they are cost effective. The fact that one can backup multiple computers on a single account is also so great.

Thanx Rick.
I got one as a gift & it came w/ super-minimal documentation.
I was searching for a manual online, discovered your blog, & pretty well had all my questions answered.
Succinctly, as well.
I appreciate it!

Rick, in keeping with your previous post, I found a very practical and inexpensive product that is perfect for those involved in the mobile lifestyle. It's an all in one charger from a company called Advanced Mobile Power Solutions and it charges multiple devices at home, in your car, and portably using a 9volt battery. The product is called The Ultimate Charger and it really is the ultimate charging device! Since owning it, I have been able to clean out my desk drawer of all those single function chargers. Less clutter, more power.

THis is a nice read, full of real life, no geek speak information. I believing everything except when you said that you were checking tweets while in the passenger seat driving at speed. And then I thought wait is this Amy Mahn, wife of Rick Mahn, whom I drove home from SxSw with in less than a day straight through. Not at speed.

But then perhaps someone else was driving, now it all makes sense.

neat read and I know it's difficult but a phone will never, ever be a phone again.

PS - I'm looking forward to those embedded chips in the brain just behind the ear. I figure about 2020 for those bad boys.

Guys,

I apologize for contacting like this but there is (intentionally, I am sure) no contact form on your site.

I represent Federated Media and I think we can very well represent your ad inventory to our portfolio of mobile advertisers (Sprint, Verizon, RIM) at much higher CPMs than you're currently receiving from Google or Chitika.

We specialize in higher-quality, "brand safe" sites like yours for which advertisers are willing to pay a premium. We currently represent BGR and Mashable among others in tech/CE/mobile.

If you are interested, I would love to speak to you.

Best regards,

James

The app did well, if I do say so myself, maintaining #2 on the Android market for a long time, eventually falling to #3 behind the Weather Channel and the T-Mobile my account app.

I bet a lot more people will be seeing the app too, since more Android handset have come out. I love the HTC Magic.

It is a real shame that there is no such application included with the HTC Magic or HTC Dream... It should be in this kind of high end expensive phones.

Norton is offering online storage backup too through their norton 360 software. They sell 1 year of either 5, 10 or 25 GB for 25, 40 or 56 EUR respectively. Idrive is only 50 US dollar for 150 GB! plus the norton tool does not have the continuous backup option nor the web browser access to your data files, at least not to my knowledge.
