Nokia acquires Navteq
Today Nokia purchased navigation software vendor Navteq. In the $8.1 billion deal, Nokia will pay out $78 per share of Navteq stock, including outstanding options. Navteq supplies digital map & navigational software of 69 countries, and navigational services for several automobile manufacturers.

HTC Kaiser as the AT&T 8925?
Well I was hoping to see the HTC Kaiser/P4550 on T-Mobile, but this may be good news for the AT&T crowd out there. The only thing I would have added to the Kaiser is a VGA screen - just to add more resolution for pictures & video, not the interface.

Wireless USB makes it to market
Can you wait for Wireless USB? I’m getting a little antsy already! I’m not sure how quickly it’ll be included in mobile gadgets and such, but as the devices are coming to market, it can’t be long. It may be a really good Christmas for gadget accessories!

Engadget has info on Nokia’s HF-300 Bluetooth Speakerphone
Ah, Independence Day holiday, but the news doesn’t stop rolling in! Nokia brings portability to the party with the HF-300 Bluetooth Speakerphone. At $123US, the HG-300 should hit retail shelves this autumn. It’s battery life is estimated at 20hrs per charge and has several power saving features that should help get close to that number.
