This should be a welcome addition to any Blackberry user - a Skype solution that does not require a PC hosted daemon for it to work.
Currently in beta, the iSkoot service allows you to use Skype voice chats via Skype Out credits. More info at the link below.

BlackBerry 8800 on T-Mobile by mid-January?
RIMarkable has the scoop on the Blackberry 8800. Sporting WiFi and a camera version, may show up on the T-Mobile network in January of 2007.

Marvell has completed the purchase of Intel’s handset chip business
No, not Marvel Comics. Marvell Technology today announced the completion of the XScale chip purchase. The XScale chip has been powering mobile phone handsets and PDAs for many years, but has seemingly stagnated under Intel’s ownership.
Hopefully, Marvell will continue innovation in the space by working on power requirements, performance and feature integration.
