Logitech has done it again with a great new mouse targeted at the upper end of the notebook field of mice. Tablet PC Review has a great review of the new mouse, with several pictures and an overview of the mouse’s greatest feature, the USB receiver.
Now I know what you are thinking, but I have to tell you from experience that the USB receiver is the biggest feature (and smallest piece) of this mouse. See, the USB receiver is a breakthrough in its size - it’s so small that you don’t need to remove it from your laptop’s USB port. I had a change to try this mouse a few weeks ago and was stunned at the usability of the mouse simply because I no longer had to plug/unplug the USB receiver of the mouse. Hugely useful.
The mouse itself is a great design that fits well in hand, with a MicroGear alloy scroll wheel, forward/back buttons, and a useful instant-search button behind the scroll wheel. The usual software/driver refinements allow the user to adjust individual settings. Logitech has done it again with a great mouse. Check out the review at the link below.
