While it’s been really hard to find the right voice for The Mobile Lifestyle blog, I have found that the mobile lifestyle in general is an interesting and rewarding experience.  The ability to work where and when you please is the biggest part of that.  But it’s more than that, its also the ability to do what you want when you want to do it rather than according to someone else’s schedule.

I’ll admit for the moment that this is still a new venture for me as I only left corporate life two months ago.  I still want to say “real job”, but that is only a leftover of what we’re all conditioned to believe and think of as “normal”.  The reality is that to gain that control, you need to think outside the “normal” parameters of life.  For problem solving, this is usually called “thinking outside the box” which regular businesses want employees to do very seldom.

So while still new, the novelty is not wearing off as I really enjoy adjusting to this new model of personal and professional life.  The trick, of course, is making a living which can be daunting, but very achievable.  It is with this perspective that I’ll be posting to The Mobile Lifestyle, more of the how, where, and why of being mobile in life.  As for frequency, I’m not sure yet - the goal is to be a daily blog here at TML, but it will take a little while to get there with useful content.  My vision is a Lifehacker-esque style of content that also tells a story as well as helpful ideas.
