Well that may be the case, but it sure looks rugged and/or sturdy. If I was a person who needed the functionality and the durability to make it through the day at a construction jobsite - who gives a damn what it looks like. Some people who do real work need to get that all-important call too! If its a loud environment, and/or you can’t have your phone on your belt - this may just be the answer to know that a call is coming in.
Not everyone jet-sets around, or works in posh surroundings like the folks over at Engadget! Sometimes a simple answer to a simple need makes a product really valuable. Ok, end of rant.
For anyone looking for something that simply alerts them to an incoming call - this may be for you.
