I really must apologize as I’ve let the posting slip, and not just for the past month and a half either. The past six months have been really light posting here, and I’ll take full responsibility for not keeping up.
There have been a number of changes going on in my life that have kept me from giving the proper attention to all my online endeavors, not just The Mobile Lifestyle. During the past month and a half, I’ve left my “day” job to pursue the next phase of my career as an independent consultant in information technology infrastructure design, planning, and other assorted services.
This also allows me more time to not only watch and report on mobile trends, but to also live them. This was one of my main hopes when I started The Mobile Lifestyle last June. Now that I’m actually living that lifestyle for work – actually working from multiple locations – it will allow me to write more about these experiences.
Along with the new career move, a renewed interest in mobile technologies is driving me to find more ways to work remotely. Including more online services, mobile specific software, with a mix of smartphones, and traditional laptops.
So please tag along for a month. Let me know if I’m on track or not. I’m really interested in finding out what is of interest to you.
