SBSH Mobile Software has released version 1.2 of their Papyrus “today screen” software designed for Symbian smartphones. The latest release now supports Symbian 3rd edition devices. Their press release:

There have been sightings of the HTC “Herald” Pocket PC phone. This phone is supposed to be one of HTC’s thinnest phones to date, and it is the same form-factor as the HTC Wizard devices that have propagated across the globe for the past year.

ZDNet is reporting that Sony is planning it’s own recall of laptop batteries.  The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the upcoming recall and will be working with Sony through the battery recall.
