For those of you looking for a QWERTY Smartphone similar to the Moto Q that was released on Verizon earlier this summer, start watching Cingular as well as T-Mobile.
Cingular will be carrying the Samsung SGH-i607 Windows Mobile UMTS Smartphone. Arriving just in time for the holidays, the i607 features a BlackBerry style QWERTY keyboard, a landscape oriented QVGA (320×240) display, Bluetooth, 1.3MP camera, microSD slot, jog-dial, and UMTS/HSDPA capabilities.
WiFi is the only item not confirmed so far, but with UMTS/HSDPA capabilities, will you really miss it in a Smartphone? Samsung makes quality phones, and this one will be a higher-performance option over the T-Mobile Dash that will be coming out this month.
