The scope of the battery issues from Sony keep seeming to expand every week.  This BetaNews article details additional recalls from various computer makers who use Sony-supplied batteries.  One has to wonder with all the reports of battery-related heat/fire/etc.. problems if Lithium Ion battery technology is being pushed too far.

Anyway, I had not realized how many laptop lines have been affected by the problems.  Some of the financial numbers start to look like they may have a significant affect on Sony’s business.  Read more at the link below.
