Well, you should try out Microsoft’s little sleeper blogging editor - Windows Live Writer. The darn thing is too cool, and lets you easily compose wonderfully (and correctly) formatted blog posts. It even includes a spell checker (thank you) and the ability to post & edit drafts in addition to publishing posts.
